Investigation of Lithium Manganese Oxides Using High-Dimensional Neural Networks

Abstract

First of all, I would like to thank my supervisor Prof. Dr. Jörg Behler for giving me the opportunity to work on this inspiring research project. I am very grateful for his continuous support and advice over the past years. I could not have imagined having a better supervisor for my doctoral studies. Special thanks go to Prof. Dr. Peter E. Blöchl for his advice regarding the electronic structure calculations and for being the second supervisor of my doctoral studies.
