“…In what concerns chemical contaminations, the most frequently monitored compounds were total volatile organic compounds (TVOCs), carbon monoxide (CO), benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene (BTEX), and formaldehyde. Other parameters that were measured in at least one of the sampled papers were ammonia and nitrogen oxide [91], anesthetic gases [92,93], limonene [12], mercury vapor [38], n-hexane and styrene [89], polycyclic aromatic compounds (PAH) [94], trichloroethylene and tetrachloroethylene [88], and phthalates [95].
