Investigation of BaFe12O19 Hexaferrites Manufactured by Various Synthesis Methods Using a Developed Pulsed Magnetometer

Abstract: The manufacture and study of the properties of magnetic materials requires the development of new automated devices for measuring their magnetic properties. To obtain nanosized materials with a pure phase, it is necessary to modernize former methods and develop new methods for synthesizing materials. As part of this study, a pulse magnetometer was made to study magnetic hysteresis loops. An exceptional feature of this device is the ability to conduct studies of the full cycle of the hysteresis loop using pulse… Show more

“…The magnetic properties of Fe 3 O 4 -CA, Fe 3 O 4 -OA nanoparticles and composite scaffolds were investigated at 300 K with an external pulsed magnetic field of up to 6.5 kOe using a pulsed magnetometer (Tomsk State University, Tomsk, Russia). The technical characteristics of the magnetometer and the technique for measuring the magnetic properties are described in detail in [ 26 ].…”

“…The measurements were carried out according to a method described elsewhere. 18,19 To characterize the surface chemical composition of citric acidmodified Fe 3 O 4 , PHB, and PHB/Fe 3 O 4 −CA conduits, XPS was performed on a Thermo Fisher Scientific XPS NEXSA spectrometer with a monochromated Al K α α X-ray source operating at 1486.6 eV. XPS survey spectra were acquired at a pass energy of 200 eV and an energy resolution of 1 eV from a surface area of 200 μm 2 .…”

“…Structural study is an outstanding tool that enables investigators to determine the atomic and molecular arrangement of a material, as well as its crystal structure, microstructure, and morphology. Structural analysis techniques give us significant facts on the composition, symmetry, and order of the atoms and molecules within the material [42,43]. A practical method for examining the structure of the sample is XRD.…”
