Investigation of antioxidant, α-glucosidase inhibitory, anti-inflammatory and DNA protective properties of Vaccinium arctostaphylos L.

Abstract: GİRİŞ ve AMAÇ:Bu çalışmanın amacı Vaccinium arctostaphylos (V. arctostaphylos) L.'den hazırlanan etanol (EE), metanol (ME) ve su (AE) ekstraktlarının toplam fenolik, antosiyanin, flavonoit içerikleri ve biyolojik özelliklerinin incelenmesidir. Show more

“…Although numerous NPs have been successfully manufactured utilizing biological agents (microorganisms and plants), the development of novel NPs with biological, physical, and chemical properties is still at the cutting‐edge of nanotechnology research. Fruit extract of V. arctostaphylos L. has a noteworthy amount of anthocyanins with widely beneficial effects that are used in several preparations of traditional medicine due to its rich antioxidant, inflammatory, and antihyperlipidemia properties (Barut et al, 2019; Mohtashami et al, 2019). In this study, we introduced an efficient and green approach to the synthesis of SeNPs using fruit extract of V. arctostaphylos L.…”
