Investigation of aminoglycoside modifying enzyme genes in methicillin-resistant staphylococci

Abstract: Methicillin-resistant staphylococci may also be resistant to some other antibiotics as well as beta-lactams. In this study, co-existence of resistance to methicillin and aminoglycosides was genetically investigated in staphylococci.
