Investigation of a magnetorheological elastomer metamaterial sandwich beam with tunable graded stiffness for broadband vibration attenuation

Abstract: Metamaterials with local resonance show promising application prospects in low-frequency vibration attenuation. However, with the drawback of narrow band gap, such potential is greatly limited.
