Abstract:This paper investigates the impact of gravity modulation on weakly nonlinear magnetoconvection in a nanofluid layer that is nonuniformly rotating. The fundamental equations are obtained for the Cartesian approximation of the Couette flow using the Boussinesq approximation and gravitational modulation. The weakly nonlinear regime is analyzed using the method of perturbations with respect to the small supercritical parameter of the Rayleigh number, considering the effects of Brownian motion and thermophoresis in… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
