Urban street walkability can effectively promote public health and the construction of livable cities. In addition, the coastal streets play a positive role in showing urban vitality and image. Due to the growing leisure needs of residents, measuring the visual walkability perception (VIWP) in urban streets and exploring the influence mechanisms of urban coastal street environments on VIWP have theoretical and practical significance. However, the methods of the previous walkability studies have limitations in terms of cost, time and measurement scale. Based on Google Street View Panoramic (GSVP) image data, this study used the semantic difference (SD) method with virtual reality (VR) technology to evaluate the VIWP of Fukuoka coastal streets. Meanwhile, the proportion of streetscape elements was extracted from GSVP images by semantic segmentation. The correlation and regression analyses were performed between the VIWP evaluation values and streetscape elements. Then, the regression model of the VIWP and the streetscape elements was established. The results showed that the natural features had a positive influence on VIWP in coastal streets. Correspondingly, trees were the strongest contribution rate for the VIWP, followed by shrubs, grasses and water, however, buildings and cars had a negative influence on VIWP. The method extends previous studies for measuring walkability, and optimization strategies were proposed to improve the visual quality of the coastal streets. It can be applied in the construction and management of walkable coastal street environments.

Children’s access to outdoor activities is restricted due to the continuous spread of urbanisation in public spaces. Therefore, figuring out how to improve outdoor physical space within the existing environment is becoming increasingly important. This study conducted a systematic review of 55 studies using PRISMA method to examine the link between the physical settings in neighbourhoods and children’s outdoor play. Through Scopus databases to provide a complete list of journal articles based on stringent inclusion and exclusion standards. Identify the gaps by categorising the significant themes and aspects influencing children’s play area requirements. Studies show that the physical environment of a neighbourhood is affected by several social factors besides the needs and preferences of children’s games. It was also found that the most commonly used research methods in children’s play spaces were survey and interview, and the Affordance Theory was widely used as a research framework. This research provides new design possibilities for children’s play areas in residential neighbourhoods. These guidelines emphasise games with varied spatial qualities, the integration of spatial functions, the additional support requirements of parents for children’s play, and the flexibility of children to utilise outside space. Consequently, this analysis identifies knowledge gaps and suggests research directions for future studies.

Creating a healthy environment is a great challenge, as most of nation streets turn to be highways instead of being streets. The main reasons for the research are to save the culture view, with its walkable network, to overcome the lack of regulation for walkability, according to the Cabinet of ministers, 2020. The paper consists of three sectors, first the theoretical approach that identifies the walkability features. Second, the urban field literature, which is based on a questionnaire to assess the walkability percentage in streets, and citizen's comfort, then the finally third sector suggest a walkability application as a guideline to respond to the public opinion evaluation. The Study context is based on assessing the amenities provided for Walkability within its urban context. The research focused on the walkable districts that have good culture view to be a sustainable landmark for cities, to increase tourism, to avoid the "upward mobility", and satellite desert city for new development. Hence the deductive approach is based on a theoretical comparative analysis within creating application, to show the relationship between the walkability indicators for the citizen, in questionnaire using Essen's walkability assessment. The central problem of my study is how to revive our nation's streets into sustainable routes. The main conclusion is to achieve adequate urban design for citizen, depends upon their exact needs, based on climate, gender, and age that will vary from region to another, this was achieved by concluded different walkability indicators which were mentioned at the end of this paper.
