Inversions de population lors de la création, par interaction laser résonnante, de plasmas complètement ionisés

Abstract: Un traitement numérique des équations d'évolution montre l'importance, pour le début de la cinétique d'ionisation, des collisions entre espèces atomiques excitées. En particulier, le processus d'« energy pooling » peuple fortement les niveaux 5S et 4D entraînant ainsi une forte densité d'inversion de population. Celle-ci apparaît toujours mais de façon transitoire dans le processus qui conduit à l'ionisation complète
