Inverse Analysis of the Residual Stress in Laser–Assisted Milling

Abstract: In laser-assisted milling, higher temperature in shear zone softens the material potentially resulting in a shift of mean residual stress, which significantly affects the damage tolerance and fatigue performance of product.
