This study aims to determine how much influence the control of raw material inventories on the production process at PT. Dayup Indo. The population in this study is the entire number of employees in the production and warehouse. This study uses a quantitative method. The sample in this study were 60 people with Non Probability Sampling technique, namely saturated Sampling. The independent variable in this study is the control of raw material inventory, while the dependent variable is the production process. Simple linear regression test results obtained Y = 4.215 + 0.728X which means that the value of 4.215 with 0.728 which states the effect of variable X on Y is positive. Based on regression analysis (t-test), it is known that t-value > t-table is 9.757 > 1.672 which means that raw material inventory control affects the production process at PT. Dayup Indo. With the coefficient of determination (R2) has a value of 0.621 indicates that the magnitude of the influence of raw material inventory control variables on variables of the production process is 62.1% while the remaining 37.9% is influenced by other objects that are not included in this study.

Dalam masa sekarang ini suatu perusahaan haruslah bisa mempersiapkan dirinya menjadi lebih baik. Hal tersebut dikarenakan dalam era perdagangan maju seperti sekarang ini akan dapat mengakibatkan persaingan menjadi lebih ketat. Obyek penelitian ini adalah salah satu perusahaan penyedia tangki air di Sidoarjo. Perusahaan tersebut memiliki produk yang paling banyak diminati oleh konsumen, yakni tangki air stainless. Keunggulan dari produk tersebut adalah dapat menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri berlebih pada air yang disimpannya. Namun dalam proses produksinya, sering kali dijumpai adanya persediaan bahan baku yang overstock. Hal tersebut dikarenakan oleh sistem perencanaan produksi yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan belum sesuai dengan demand yang ada. Maka, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan perancangan terhadap persediaan bahan baku tangki air stainless di perusahaan berupa jadwal produksi atau jadwal pemesanan dari masing-masing bahan baku. Keterbaruan dari penelitian ini adalah fokus dari hasil penelitian, yakni tentang penjadwalan produksi dan pemesanan bahan baku. Penelitian ini melibatkan proses peramalan dengan Moving Average dan Single Exponential Smoothing yang selanjutnya dilanjutkan dengan metode Material Requirement Planning (MRP). Dari pengolahan data yang sudah dilaksanakan, maka diperoleh stock out terbanyak terjadi pada komponen produk tangki air stainless yang merupakan produk jadi, yakni sebanyak sembilan kali dengan jumlah sebanyak 350 unit.

Background Currently, retail companies that fail to digitise their logistics processes experience difficulties in controlling stock, resulting in inaccuracies in the quantity of products and excess amounts in the warehouse. Consequently, the aim was to introduce a web-based system to enhance inventory control in retail firms within the city of Huaraz. Methods The Extreme Programming methodology was implemented in four phases. During the planning phase, roles and user stories were established. In the coding phase, Hypertext Preprocessor and JavaScript programming languages were utilised alongside the MySQL database management system. The testing phase involved evaluating each interface’s functionality to ensure that it was a part of the web system. The objective of this was to develop the web system and utilise it as an inventory control tool. Results The utilization of the web-based system within the logistics sector led to enhanced indicators, as seen through a 52.94% increase in inventory precision rate and 91.94% rise in the stock turnover rate. Conclusions The web system facilitates the minimisation of input errors in product quantity records while also enabling visualisation of such data. It further provides an illustrated representation, in the form of a bar graph, of each product’s indicator behaviour.
