Inventario de la Herpetofauna de México 2023

Abstract: For the Inventory of the Herpetofauna of Mexico, a total of 1,422 native herpetofaunal species are reported so far (892 endemic, 62.7%), of which 430 (30.2%) are amphibians (15 families and 58 genera) with 299 (69.5%) endemic species, and 992 (69.8%) reptiles (41 families and 154 genera) with 593 (59.8%) endemic species.
