In a number of vibration applications, systems under study are slightly non-linear. It is thus of great importance to have a way to model and to measure these non-linearities in the frequency range of use. Cascade of Hammerstein models conveniently allows one to describe a large class of non-linearities. A simple method based on a phase property of exponential sine sweeps is proposed to identify the structural elements of such a model from only one measured response of the system. Mathematical foundations and practical implementation of the method are discussed. The method is afterwards validated on simulated and real systems. Vibrating devices such as acoustical transducers are well approximated by cascade of Hammerstein models. The harmonic distortion generated by those transducers can be predicted by the model over the entire audio frequency range for any desired input amplitude. Agreement with more time consuming classical distortion measurement methods was found to be good.

This paper presents a novel flat loudspeaker with improved sound frequency response. Flat loudspeakers provide advantages of compact dimensions and high durability. Known flat loudspeaker technology is based on high modal density. However, the resonances in the panel are complex and difficult to control, which often leads to complicated computations and insufficient low frequency response. The flat loudspeaker in this paper comprises a novel panel structure, which offers low density, high stiffness, and efficient space utilization. Furthermore we have developed a simple and stable control mechanism to obtain flat sound frequency response. Experimental results show that our method effectively improves the performance of the flat loudspeaker with extended low-frequency response.

Sadržaj -DM zvu nici (DML-Distributed ModeLoudspeakers) odnosno zvu nici sa raspodeljenim izvorima vibracija predstavljaju tehni ko rešenje koje se bazira na upoterbi ravnih plo a, odnosno panela kao izvora zvuka. U ovom rešenju do formiranja zvu nog polja dolazi aktiviranjem ravnomerno raspodeljenih izvora vibracija ravne plo e, koriš enjem namenskog elektroakusti kog pobu iva a (exciter). Zbog ovakvog na ina generisanja zvuka, karakteristike DM zvu nika se umnogome razlikuju od karakteristika elektrodinami kih zvu nika sa membranom. Njihov oblik u vidu plo e male debljine ini ih veoma interesantnim za primenu u dizajniranju enterijera, za potrebe mobilne telefonije i ra unarske industrije, industrije zabave i sl.U ovom radu su prikazani rezultati merenja frekvencijske karakteristike, karakteristike usmerenosti i izobli enja ovog tipa zvu nika u zavisnosti od na ina njihove ugradnje.Klju ne re i -Akustika, izvori zvuka, zvu nici.
