Introduction: Space on the Early Modern Stage

Abstract: This introductory article situates the collection ‘Space on the Early Modern Stage’ (Cahiers Elisabéthains 88) within the context of existing scholarship on the staging practices and architecture of sixteenth- and seventeenth-century playhouses.
