“…Within the framework of ARAD method the regular procedure of analytic SMC synthesis by nonlinear multidimensional and multichannel objects have been developed [14], in which subtasks, listed above, are solved together. Description of the SMC movement on a sliding surface is a separate task, solution of which is traditionally based on the axiomatic approach and equivalent control method [2], [3].…”

“…It should be noted, that in general case func tional equations of the ARAD method can have appearance different from (3): they can be nonlinear differential equations each of 1st or 2nd orders. More detailed information on this topic you can see in [13], [14].…”

Power systems are nonlinear multidimensional and multichannel complex objects. There are some structure and parameter uncertainties in power systems. For uncertainties compensation are used robust and adaptive control methods. The sliding mode control theory is one type of the robust control theories, which can obtain low sensitivity to object parameters changes. Therefore, new approach of nonlinear sliding mode control theory is shown in this paper. It's called synergetic sliding mode control. Here is described the procedure of synergetic sliding mode control for nonlinearly controlled objects. Proposed procedure is based on aggregated regulators analytical design (ARAD) method -the basic method of synergetic control theory. Application of this theory has been reviewed for synthesis of synchronous generator (SC) excitation nonlinear robust control law. Robustness and control performance of the proposed method are examined by numerical simulations.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
