“…The Raman spectra corroborated the formation of the ZCCO NC. The bands, as shown in figure 2, depict E2 (High) band at 435.80 cm -1 as the fingerprint region of the Wurtzite ZnO, (2LA) mode at 457.92 cm −1 , (LA + LO) mode at 894.37 cm −1 and (TO + LO) mode at 1020-1085 cm −1 all these correspond to ZnO phase [20] whereas CuO related bands were indexed at 282.10 and 296.10 (Ag)cm −1 , 672.63 cm −1 (B2g) cm −1 [21], and CdO related bands indexed at 253.8 cm −1 (TA+TO), and there are five peaks in the series of 765-965 (2LO) cm −1 [22]. The observed modifications are concerned with the intensity and peak shifting because of the structural imperfections formed by the interaction between all the ternary materials Zn, Cd and Cu oxides.…”

“…At an optimal pH of 5.7 with about 80% activated carbon column packing, a 96.70% COD removal efficiency was recorded after 76 min. Bukhari et al [89] have reported the composite adsorption ability of graphene oxide nanocomposites with cadmium oxide (CdO). At an adsorbent dosage of 1.3 g/L and pH 5, a Cr +6 efficiency of 98% was obtained.…”

“…MnFe 2 O 4 [57,59], sulfonated magnetic [60,61], and Fe 3 O 4 [57,[62][63][64][65][66] were added to the graphene oxide adsorbents, making it easier for them to be trapped from the medium with the help of an external magnetic field. To improve effectiveness of heavy metal removals, scientists have added other materials including Chitosan [67][68][69], Cds [70], silica [71,72], Mg(OH) 2 [73], and CdO [74] to GO nanosheets. Due to its impressive properties, graphydine, a new type of carbon allotrope made up of sp-and sp 2 -hybridized carbon atoms, has attracted significant interest.…”
