Teachers have tried to teach their students by introducing text books along with verbal instructions in traditional education system. However, teaching and learning methods could be changed for developing Information and Communication Technology (ICT). It's time to adapt students with interactive learning system so that they can improve their learning, catching, and memorizing capabilities. It is indispensable to create high quality and realistic leaning environment for students. Visual learning can be easier to understand and deal with their learning. We developed visual learning materials (an overview of solar system) in the form of video for students of primary level using different multimedia application tools. The objective of this paper is to examine the impact of student's abilities to acquire new knowledge or skills through visual learning materials and blended leaning that is integration of visual learning materials with teacher's instructions. We visited a primary school in Dhaka city for this study and conducted teaching with three different groups of students (i) teacher taught students by traditional system on same materials and marked level of student's ability to adapt by a set of questions (ii) another group was taught with only visual learning material and assessment was done with 15 questionnaires, (iii) the third group was taught with the video of solar system combined with teacher's instructions and assessed with the same questionnaires. This integration of visual materials (solar system) with verbal instructions is a blended approach of learning. The interactive blended approach greatly promoted students ability of acquisition of knowledge and skills. Students response and perception were very positive towards the blended technique than the other two methods. This interactive blending leaning system may be an appropriate method especially for school children.

Teaching and learning through digital technology is currently experiencing very rapid changes. Changes, especially in the reading system can be seen through the use of digital material with technology-based. To achieve that context, this research was carried out to test an interactive reading material for Standard Two primary school student. The experiment group was exposed to the use of interactive multimedia material, while the control group was exposed to the use of conventional material. Quasi-experimental method was used in this study to test Standard Two Student's achievement in reading comprehension. Data were analyzed by descriptive and inferential methods. Descriptive data are mean and standard deviation. Inferential data were analyzed using ANCOVA statistic. The result showed that there were significant difference between the use of interactive and conventional material when the pre-test is statistically controlled or covariates. The result shows the implication that interactive multimedia reading material makes student more creative and critical in reading. Therefore, it is proposed to the Ministry of Education, Malaysia to intensify the use of interactive multimedia materials in order to improve the achievement of student in reading.

This is an investigation in the development and assessment of a mobile application that was developed for differentiated (Individualized) learning in support of lecture-based general education subjects. The mobile phone application was developed as a learning aid as a substantial number of students were experiencing difficulty in successfully completing these courses. The researcher developed the mobile phone application that contains uploaded course content from each course. This was used to create a summary of the lecture content from each course, in the form of infographics and linked ‘PDF files’ or soft copies of lecture materials. The researcher developed exercises that students could complete which later contributed to self-created content based on their understanding, skills, and interests. With use of the mobile application, 100% of the students successfully completed these courses. Moreover, the level of satisfaction in education among students was high with an average of 4.75. The standard deviation of 0.43 indicated that, concerning contemporary education, and the active learning atmosphere, effective learning can be achieved due to the development of learning innovation in the use of electronic devices, which give opportunities to students to use their creativity in problem solving, as based on their preferences, whilst demonstrating their understanding about lesson content.
