Abstract:Mitochondrial autophagy plays a contributary role in the pathogenesis of retina degeneration (RD). ZYAN1 is a novel proline hydroxylase domain (PHD) inhibitor that can enhance the expression of hypoxia-inducible factor 1-alpha (HIF-1α).
