Intravenous Iron Induced Severe Hypophosphatemia

Abstract: Introduction: Hypophosphatemia is a recently recognized adverse effect of certain intravenous iron formulations. It was previously thought to be asymptomatic and transient, however it can cause severe hypophosphatemia associated with renal phosphate wasting.
