Intravenous iron in clinical concentrations does not impair haemoglobin measurement

Abstract: Although neat preparations of intravenous iron do interfere with spectrophotometric analysis of haemoglobin, concentrations likely to be seen post iron infusion do not significantly interfere with haemoglobin measurement.
