Intratympanic Dexamethasone in Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss

Abstract: Sudden sensorineural hearing loss can be a frightening experience for the sufferer and needs immediate treatment. Systemic steroid therapy has been the mainstay of treatment of this condition but concerns about their side effects has led to their use by intratympanic injection.
