Abstract:Styrax japonicus is a medicinal and ornamental shrub belonging to the Styracaceae family. To explore the diversity and characteristics of the chloroplast genome of S. japonicus, we conducted sequencing and comparison of the chloroplast genomes of four naturally distributed S. japonicus.
