Abstract: Aims Coleanthus subtilis is a globally rare or threatened, ephemeral therophyte of exposed bottoms of water reservoirs and riverbanks. Nevertheless, it shows a potential to conquer new areas and dominate in phytocoenoses showing morphological differentiation.
