Intraoperative breakage of a laparoscopic needle holder confirmed by postoperative abdominal X-ray: A case report and literature review

Abstract: Introduction: Intraperitoneal retention of surgical instrument fragments may lead to severe complications. Therefore, such foreign bodies must be detected before surgery completion.
