Intraocular pressure changes during and after silicone oil endotamponade (Review)

Abstract: Silicone oil (SIO) has rapidly become an indispensable adjunct in vitreoretinal surgery. Constant improvements in purity and also in viscosity have not totally prevented specific complications that may occur during endotamponade.
