Intramyocardial Dissecting Hematoma: Cardiac Trauma and Ischemic Heart Disease: Multimodality Imaging Techniques

Abstract: Mini‐Abstract A 37‐year‐old male patient came to hospital after an accidental fall from 8.20 feet high. CT scan showed an image compatible with an old myocardial infarction at the apex of the left ventricle (LV) and a thrombosed aneurysm. At the echocardiography, adjacent to LV apex, an image of low echoic density was seen, as well as a mobile endocardial flap, suggesting a contained subacute ventricular rupture.
