“…The patient in our case did not show findings suggestive of blunt abdominal trauma, was not anticoagulated and had no obvious blood dyscrasias. Postpolypectomy status [ 9 , 13 ], endometriosis [14] , and a background of acute cholecystitis [15] or intestinal pneumatosis [16] have been reported as other causes. In our case, those causes were all excluded by a comprehensive medical history and macro- and microscopic findings.…”
