Abstract:In terms of the molecular design for thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF), the high degree of spatial separation of frontier molecular orbitals can be achieved through constructing cofacial donor−acceptor alignment in a through-space charge transfer (TSCT) framework. When extremely low ΔE ST is realized, TSCT-TADF molecules still suffer a low radiative transition rate (k r ) of the emissive TSCT state. Compact TSCT-TADF emitters, mCz-Xo-TRZ and dCz-Xo-TRZ, have been reported, showing a high photolum… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
