2002 organo-phosphorus compounds organo-phosphorus compounds S 0080 -185Intramolecular P=S and P=N Alkylation.General Method for Synthesizing 1,2-Heteraphosphacyclanes.-The results previously obtained for the intramolecular P=S alkylation of ω-haloalkyl-substituted thiaphosphinic and thiaphosphonic acid derivatives and studies concerning the tautomeric equilibrium of acyclic to cyclic products are reviewed. Additionally, it is shown that this intramolecular alkylation reaction can be successfully extended to P=N bond containing analogues. Thus, cyclization of ω-haloalkyl-substituted iminophosphoranes proceeds smoothly to furnish azaphosphacyclanes (IV) in good yields. -(ALADZHEVA, I. M.; BYKHOVSKAYA, O. V.; LOBANOV, D.
