“…Most of the above referenced protocols [6,9,12,15,17,16,19,20,[22][23][24][25] do not guarantee a 100% delivery of the broadcast message to all hosts. The protocol proposed in [2] can achieve 100% delivery in deterministic time slots, but is TDMAbased which is difficult to implement in multi-hop ad hoc networks.…”

“…The protocol is mobility-transparent and can complete in a deterministic number of time slots, but the maximum degree of the network must be known in advance. An intra-team broadcast protocol is proposed in [9] that uses a minimum spanning tree or a minimum node cover set as the backbone for broadcasting, so a global topology has to be collected. But unfortunately the collision problem is not considered in this protocol.…”

“…In order to route packets to all members in the network, one of the main actions of a mobile node is the dissemination of control messages to all other nodes that share the same physical channel. This procedure is known as intra-team broadcasting and is discussed in [8]. The existence of a reliable and resourceefficient broadcast protocol in a multi-hop ad hoc wireless network is indispensable due to the increased amount of circulating control information.…”
