Intra-articular injection of collagenase in the knee of rats as an alternative model to study nociception associated with osteoarthritis

Abstract: IntroductionAnimal models currently used in osteoarthritis-associated pain research inadequately reproduce the initiating events and structural pathology of human osteoarthritis.
