Abstract: Background: Micronized dehydrated human amnion/chorion membrane (mdHACM) has reduced short term post-traumatic osteoarthritis (PTOA) progression in rats when delivered 24 h after medial meniscal transection (MMT) and is being investigated for clinical use as a disease modifying therapy.
