Intra-abdominal actinomycosis, the great mime: case report and literature review

Abstract: Background: Actinomycosis is a rare, insidious, infectious disease. Cervicofacial, thoracic and abdominopelvic districts are most commonly involved. Its tendency to involve surrounding structures may mimic a tumor on imaging studies.
