Intoxicações Exógenas: Perfil Dos Casos Que Necessitaram De Assistência Intensiva Em 2007

Abstract: The intoxications records showed that there was a predominance of females (56.3%) over males (43.6%). Most cases were caused by poisoning with carbamate (26.6%), followed by coumarin rodenticides (23.4%) and pyrethroids (22.3%). From the total, 69% were healed, 23.5% had healing not confirmed and 7.5% died. Conclusion: Exogenous intoxications in 2007 showed the products causing ICU admissions were those used illegally such as rodenticides.
