Intimate mobilities—International (transnational) marriage and migration: Japanese marriage migrants floating between Japan and Korea

Abstract: In the past decade, intense mobility within Asia has led to increased international marriage (kokusai kekkon) in the region. A growing number of scholars have explored this phenomenon—called the intimate part of Asia—with a focus on foreign brides from emerging economies.
