Intestinal Obstruction Aggravated by Colonoscopy: A Case Report

Abstract: Colonoscopy is a frequently performed procedure used for colorectal cancer screening. Most frequent complication is colonic perforation and bleeding. Other visceral injuries are very rare, but injuries to the spleen and liver have been described. We report on 66-yr-old female who presented with abdominal pain after uneventful colonoscopy.
