Abstract:Harold Frederick Searles desenvolveu as suas contribuições para a psicanálise com base em sua experiência clínica com as psicoses, sobretudo em sua modalidade esquizofrênica. Ele também produziu importantes teorizações sobre o adoecimento psíquico característico dos casos-limite.
