Interprofessional Education and Obstetric Ultrasound

Abstract: The transformation of healthcare relies on interprofessional education (IPE). Reviewing the history of the movement to prevent medical errors through the call for collaborative high functioning team practice, an assessment of the need to recognize the importance of interprofessional collaboration among sonographers, various medical specialties and nursing is addressed.
