Interpretation of borehole sonic measurements acquired in vertical transversely isotropic formations penetrated by vertical wells

Abstract: Detecting vertical transversely isotropic (VTI) formations and quantifying the magnitude of anisotropy are fundamental for describing organic mudrocks.
