Abstract:Today, social networks are part of a new performance dynamic of society in the face of the social, environmental, political and economic impacts with which it coexists, and, given its relevance, there is currently a rich debate about its implications for development. The essay presented here intends to contribute to such a discussion aiming to reflect if Networks, as an autonomous insertion instance, are in fact capable of influencing the environment in which it is inserted.
