PurposeThe purpose of this study was to investigate attractiveness of internship advertisements to the prospective applicants through the lens of employer branding. By giving attention to internship attractiveness, universities and companies expand current collaborations around internship provision to enhance student internship experiences, satisfaction and employment prospects and to foster long-term sustainability of internship programs.Design/methodology/approachThe study used a mixed-methods design employing a concurrent triangulation strategy. The authors conducted a content analysis of 94 internship listings published in the largest Russian job portal, HeadHunter, and collected surveys from 274 prospective interns.FindingsThe study shows a mismatch between employer branding strategies and prospective interns' perceptions of employer attractiveness. Companies emphasize economic value and visual identity as well as functional attributes, while prospective interns prioritize development value and symbolic attributes. The findings suggest internship advertisements do not appeal to potential applicants.Research limitations/implicationsThe results are limited to business students from specific universities in Russia, so further research is needed to include students with different majors and from other countries. The study is also limited to advertisements available via a large online job portal. A comparative analysis of effectiveness of various communication channels for internship promotion could yield useful results.Practical implicationsCareer center advisors, academic program directors and internship coordinators should work with company leaders, human resources and marketing decision-makers, and recruitment specialists to better understand interns' drivers of attraction and audit the internship advertisements. Employers could use the study results to strengthen recruiting messages and, hence, attractiveness of the employer brand to potential interns.Originality/valueThe study contributes by applying the employer branding theory to an understudied population of interns, hence providing new insights into internships as collaboration between universities and companies. By focusing on internship positions, which differ from full-time permanent positions across many aspects, including the positions' duration, pay, supervision and purpose, the study assists in understanding the distinct drivers of attraction of interns, which are missing from published research on the topic.

Online-based PAUD accreditation is not without problems. There are various problems that show the complexity of the implementation of online-based PAUD accreditation at PAUD institutions in Banyumas district. This study aims to describe and analyze the complexity that occurs in the implementation of online-based accreditation at PAUD institutions in Banyumas district. This study uses a quantitative method that is descriptive in nature where the researcher can describe the results of the research that has been carried out by describing the object of research at the current state based on the actual facts then analyzed and interpreted. Based on the results of the research, the findings were in the form of obstacles or problems faced in implementing online PAUD accreditation including: (1) lack of guidance related to the eight National PAUD Education Standards; (2) lack of assistance in filling in the EDS-PA on the Sispena application; (3) teachers' limited ICT skills; and (4) limited internet network in PAUD institutions.

This study aimed to assist and measure the extent of the implementation of the key areas of the Graduate School Program at St. Paul University Surigao. Examining the level of its attainment was the basis for coming up with a quality road map for sustainable development of the Graduate School Program. This study was based on the extent of implementation of the key areas rating result as perceived by the university administrators, graduate school faculty members, and staff and the criteria set by the PACUCOA in each program rating result. This study used a quantitative approach and descriptive methods of research. The data of this study were sourced from the respondents, which investigated the correlation between the quality education perceived rating by the university and the PACUCOA accreditation rating. It further investigated the quality of education in the SPUS Graduate School program offerings based on PACUCOA accreditation rating. The findings of this study revealed that St. Paul University-Graduate School was consistent in rating the key area on the Philosophy and Objectives as the highest and followed by the Administration across all programs. The PACUCOA and SPUS both rated the key areas of, Philosophy & Objectives and Administrators as the highest rating across all programs, although they differed in the number of percentages which meant they both believed that administrators or school leadership had become a priority in education policy agenda both local and international. There was a significant difference between the university's rating for quality education and the university’s PACUCOA accreditation rating. The self-performance rating of the SPUS Graduate School from the different programs on the PACUCOA standards was the same. PACUCOA rated the key area on “Curriculum and Instruction” as the highest rating across all programs except for the MPA program compared to the University rating. Although, the University rated “Curriculum and Instruction” as the lowest rating in all programs except for the MPA program, which was interpreted as “Very Good.”
