The configuration of economic development, through complexity, rhythm, and amplitude, imposed Industry 4.0 as a new industrial paradigm characterized by advanced digitalization and automation. Appropriate behavior of organizations from a sustainable perspective and the expansion of performance evaluations by considering economic–financial, social, and environmental aspects supposed the reconsideration of the role of accounting in reporting, advice on risk management, and determination of organizational policies. The application of digital technologies in sustainability accounting and reporting requires mapping the attributes of Industry 4.0 and the collection, processing, and reporting of financial and non-financial information. The purpose of this research consists of a correlative analysis of the impact of sustainable development constraints and Industry 4.0 on sustainability accounting and reporting. To collect information, we developed a semi-structured questionnaire, distributed to the members of The Romanian Chamber of Fiscal Consultants. The data have been processed using correlation and regression analysis. The odds of achieving a higher quality of information provided to stakeholders are greater for those interested in digital transformation, sustainable accounting and reporting digitization, while ensuring data protection and security. In the case of cloud computing users, the digitalization of sustainability accounting and reporting were identified as key factors in the process.

The primary object of this chapter is to evaluate AI and its application for the Healthcare Industry 4.0. With artificial intelligence, jobs completed by humans are completed faster and at a fraction of the cost, making life easier for patients, physicians, and hospital managers. Artificial intelligence (AI) is used in healthcare in various ways, including discovering new connections between genetic codes, powering robots that assist during surgery, automating administrative work, customizing treatment options, and much more. The numerous contemporary uses of AI in the healthcare industry are examined and discussed. The study focuses on the three newest and most promising areas of AI-powered healthcare: patient care, clinical trials, and AI-led drug development. Time-consuming data monitoring techniques can also be eliminated with the aid of artificial intelligence (AI). large amounts of data may be handled, and highly accurate outcomes can be obtained via AI-assisted clinical trials. Businesses specializing in medical AI provide tools that support patients in all ways. Clinical intelligence also analyzes patients' medical data, offering them insights to help them live better lives. Healthcare 4.0 improves the quality, adaptability, efficiency, and reliability of healthcare delivery by enhancing the patient experience. IoT and intelligent algorithms are all connected and used in healthcare.

The primary objective of this chapter is to examine the AI applications for healthcare 4.0. Using a wide range of contemporary technologies, such as digitization, artificial intelligence, user response data (ergonomics), human psychology, the internet of things, machine learning, big data mining, and augmented reality, one of the great success stories of our day is healthcare. Worldwide life expectancy has increased due to the tremendous advancements in medical research. But when people live longer, healthcare systems must deal with more people needing their services, more money spent on them, and a staff that finds it more challenging to care for patients. A healthy, productive society depends heavily on the healthcare industry, making it one of the most critical industries in the larger big data environment. Artificial intelligence (AI), which builds on automation, has the potential to transform healthcare and assist in addressing some of the issues mentioned above. AI can support healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, in their day-to-day jobs. Artificial intelligence (AI) can improve patient outcomes by enhancing the quality of life and preventive care and producing more accurate diagnoses and treatment regimens. This book provides an overview of the most recent advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) applications in biomedicine, encompassing pharmaceutical processing, disease diagnosis, patient monitoring, biomedical information, and biomedical research. A summary of the most recent developments in the use of AI in healthcare is also provided, along with a road map for creating safe, dependable, and efficient AI systems and a discussion of potential future directions for AI-assisted healthcare systems. Numerous uses of AI exist in the medical field. Healthcare 4.0 has brought about a paradigm shift in the healthcare industry, drawing inspiration from Industry 4.0. Therefore, how the digital revolution in healthcare will affect the quality of medical care is still being determined. This study results will help the new researchers and healthcare institutions.
