Abstract: The calcium-sensing receptor (CaSR) is a class C G protein-coupled receptor that responds to multiple endogenous agonists and allosteric modulators, including divalent and trivalent cations, L-amino acids, g-glutamyl peptides, polyamines, polycationic peptides, and protons.
