“…As shown in Figure 15a, the main difference between the initial (published) and the starting model was more accurate geometry of the top basement horizon. We also introduced a high density body at the lower part of the Mendeleev Ridge crust as suggested by Kashubin et al (2016) gravity model to test an underplating scenario, and also used a more accurate sea-bottom topography derived from the latest IBCAO-3 dataset (Jakobsson et al, 2012).
