Internal hernia secondary to unexpected broad ligament defect: A case report

Abstract: A broad ligament can drive it in 5% of cases. Bowel obstruction through a defect in the broad ligament of the uterus is an uncommon disease. We present a 41‐year‐old woman who underwent an abdominal laparoscopic. It showed diffuse loop dilation, minimal free fluid in the pelvis, and an unexpected small orifice in the right broad ligament of the uterus, which measured approximately 3 cm.
