“…The impact of the political crisis on the internal efficiency of higher education (Almunifi & Aleryani, 2021), conflict within the higher education system itself, including policymaking (Muthanna & Sang, 2018a), human capital migration (Muthanna & Sang, 2018b), poor compensation and low salaries (Muthanna, 2015), or even corruption leading to academic injustice (Muthanna, 2013) are all factors behind the low development of education in the nation. Other hindering factors are religious and tribal aspects unique to the Arab and Muslim state, including Yemen (Waghid & Davids, 2014), gender disparity (Yuki et al, 2013), social injustice (Roche, 2013), overpopulated schools (Khair et al, 2012), and poor quality assurance (Anaam et al, 2009).…”
