“…In a first step, we examine whether significant differences in information need exist between the roles examined (Table ). For this purpose, the hypotheses were tested on the basis of tests of independence, in order to decide whether non‐trivial effects were present (e.g., Cho and Patten ; Fakhfakh et al ; van Quaquebeke and Giessner ). Since all variables of interest are measured on a nominal scale, the Chi‐squared test was applied to test possible interdependencies (Fakhfakh et al ; van Quaquebeke and Giessner ).…”

Since all variables of interest are measured on a nominal scale, the Chi‐squared test was applied to test possible interdependencies (Fakhfakh et al ; van Quaquebeke and Giessner ). The Chi‐squared values and the respective coefficients of contingency as well as Cramer's V were used to show whether significant differences exist between the different manager roles and the specific type of information requirements.…”

“…To ensure the validity of this research study, the respondents were required to respond to each question. SPSS was used for recording and statistical analysis part and linear regression was used to test the model (Akhtar et al, 2011;Fakhfakh, Zouari, & Zouari-Hadiji, 2012;Zouari, 2008Zouari, , 2011Zouari-Hadiji, 2010).…”
