Interior warping measurement by holographic interferometry

Abstract: interferometry is used to obtain the interior displacement (warping) at different planes of a prismatic shaft of square cross-section in torsion. It can be shown that the fixed-end displacement is not equal to zero. 0 A' Fig. I. Schematic for interior displacement measurement of a shaft square cross-section in torsion.
