Interference Management Schemes for High Spectral Efficiency Satellite Communications

Abstract: This paper presents a short review on the main high spectral efficient systems for multibeam satellite communications. In this regard, we study the use of MultiUser Detectors (MUD) and Successive Interference Cancellation (SIC) applied to aggressive frequency reuse, frequency packing and Non Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA).
