Abstract:A series of experiments was performed to measure the interfacial tension of organic solvent/aqueous solutions of binary blends of suspension-agent systems. The experimental data was modeled with the nonideal adsorbed solution (NAS) model developed by Siddiqui and Franses, which considers interactions between the suspension agents. The interaction parameters of the model were estimated with a custom-designed numerical algorithm. The estimated interaction parameters reflect the differences in chemical structure … Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
